Last November we lost a well loved companion; our 12 yr-old German Shepherd "Betsy" (link to photos of Betsy in OP of this thread).
Yesterday, we brought home the newest member of our family, and already proving to be a fast companion; "Caesar".
Caesar needed a loving home. He's 3 yrs-old and absolutely wonderful! We are so happy to have found him. :-)
I'm sure he will be making his way into a photo or two here on DPC. Here's a couple I took this afternoon for starters. :-D

it looks like Caesar is going to be a loved and content family member. I like good news like this.

Wow! Thanks for all of the kind responses. I apologize for not taking time to respond to each in kind at the moment...we have a very busy weekend getting ready for my sons 6th birthday. :-)
