Does anyone know if Nik's CEP software is legal in either basic or advanced? It's pretty funky program, and i'm wondering if i can use it for challenges.

should be legal in advanced... not sure about basic.

I agree it kicks ass though, especially the Indian Summer thing.

Been used before with at least one ribbon winner that I know of.

I have been using it for awhile but not in challenges.

When you look at it most of the effects can be achieved in Photoshop with layers, mostly it allows you to get a certain effects quickly.

My view is it is over-priced but nice to play around with.

Definitely not legal in Basic. One rule specifically says no use of effex filters. It is pretty amazing with the UPoint technology, and so is Viveza!
