It is for a challenge though, so be warned.

I keep getting zigzag lines on the end product, tried all the best for reduction, smoothness etc, can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

ewwww you got the jaggies! :o

Pretty sure that most commonly happens with the compression or resizing of an image (mostly when you go from small to big). Have you tried Anti-aliasing? Can you narrow it down to when they appear...after save? after crop?

youd have a better chance at resizing the image or using a different crop, cause i just blur them down a bit unless its a member challenge then you should be able to do that?

Smarter'n the average bear...

Not directly related to your question, but there's something in there about doing the sharpening after resizing. Might be worth checking out...

I have a device, it attaches onto the bottom of the jiggy jaggy line. Once up on screen, I give it a sharp tug and the sharp bits disappear and I get a nice straight line:))

Sorry, it's patented. Only Pentax users can have access:) It is so secret that even the NSA don't have access. Damn, shouldn't have written NSA, now they will intercept this and send SWAT teams to get me!!

No, I didn't mention NSA!! Or CIA, MI5 or FBI!! That should get all the bastards on the ball :))
