I'm all out of words, so for the remainder of this side, I'm just going to do candid overlays.
Now mind you, this is my cat, and it was not-so-candid, but I liked it - she looks like a fairy queen with that poppy on her head. |

It's been a crazy few days for me, I was just glad I could get caught up with my shots. I will get caught up on comments tomorrow.

OK...Getting caught up. Before I got involved in this challenge, I NEVER, EVER, took pictures with people in them. I've got gigs and gigs of ocean shots, sunrises, landscapes, etc. But no people. Almost just as rarely did I use B&W. Now for some reason I'm having a hard time getting away from it. Color almost seems distracting if that makes any sense. (and it's not that I find my B&W conversions so darn awe inspiring! :-) So here's a few with both versions. (and a few without. Whatever.)

Portraits & Stories Day 27: Naomi VIII
Hope everyone had a great weekend/holiday (for those of us in the US)!
I have a *great* shot from this weekend but at the last minute I decided it was strong enough to enter into the weekly challenge - so for now we're back to Naomi - hope you don't mind.

| I'm behind again, lol. But I have a good excuse, my camera's in the shop. The good news is, it is getting fixed thanks to my guardian angel. I do still have the Fuji, but it's hard to get motivated when you miss your camera. It broke right after I posted the shots yesterday. |
