Hi,
I thought I would jump in on this subject and hope the thread isn't so old that no one will offer an opinion on the subject of tilted horizons.
I am not speaking of horizons that actually tilted, either intentionally or accidentally. I am speaking of horizons that are technically horizontal, but don't look like they are. Not to long ago I made a comment not regarding a wonderful photo that looked like the horizon tilted. Before I went off on a crusade, I downloaded the image and used photo shot to drop a horizontal line... the horizon was right on.
I believe I made some comment that the horizon looked tipped, but wasn't. I have an image now in which I have received several comments about the tipped horizon, and while it is, by less than 0.2 degrees, it âlooksâ quite tipped.
So, I am curious about some opinions. Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon? Should one leave the horizon level, or tweak it so that it "looks level", to at least the one doing the tweaking? Am I crazy?
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Bill |
