...at what I have been doing lately. I haven't been entering many challenges lately because between family, work and photos I've had no spare time. Here are some photos from a few shoots I have done. Would love a little feedback. I am still working on getting my lighting correct....am slowly getting there.

What do you think?

You have improved greatly. When you are doing front on portraits always aim for the eyes to have the most focus.

there was something else I was told by Hell's Camera Club (full of geriatrics) that goes along with Judi's comment:

If you're doing a face portrait of someone, put their eyes higher than the halfway point, otherwise it makes it look a bit unbalanced.

I took note of this and it works. It's a simple thing but sometimes overlooked and it makes sense when it's put into words.

I presume you mean way point of the shot. Will keep it in mind. Thanks

Not a bump, just a little nudge.

A couple of comments mentioned about the centre photo in the collage being different. I am shooting on shutter priority. What do I need to set the camera on to have consistant light/colour.

Personally... I shoot exclusively in manual when shooting with lights, just to make sure I get exactly the desired result every time. Having said that... my lighting isn't great... so take it with a grain of salt.
