Especially the last one which got no comments at all...

Left a comment on the graveyard pic. Hope it helps some. I'll have to give some thought to the others. I guess that is normal for something that lands between a 4.5-5.5. It's often hard to analyze something in that range and nail down the specifics.

The bridal shot is the most interesting of them, it is sort of eerie. But the composition is very awkward, being split down the middle to no good effect, and the image probably suffered from being perceived as an obvious color throw in a challenge that was based on shooting a cool color, so for some folks that would be seen as taking the easy way out.

The raw emotion shot is also split down the middle compositionally, and the overall processing is murky and uninformative. You could easily have processed to reveal more detail and a more expressive tonal range.

The cemetery shot is sort of "Eh..." compositionally and technically. It just doesn't make me want to take notice of it. It's not *bad*, but I'm not really connecting to it.

The blue in the bride kills it (for me at leasst), its a cool aspect ratio though and the tree is kinda awkward

the raw emotion one is nice, but it doesnt pop out, its under exposed and doesnt have much depth, its just a close up

the neg. has good composition and such, it just not a good subject for an negative image, picking the right subject for these challenges is 90% of making something win or loose

The black blob in the cemetery shot threw me off. It looked like it was hovering and took me a minute for my eye to put it back where it belonged.

Wish I could have edited that out... it's the Talisman Center and it is a pure white roof, nothing I could do about it :)

Left comments on all three before reading other comments. Having read other comments I will add that I didn't particularly like the borders on the first two.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestion, both good and bad, I do cherish each one, and eventually when I get the mix right I'll get that ribbon... and if not... oh well :)
