If you deleted the recycling bin by (accident) (rolling eyes around) where does it go? |

It doesn't go anywhere. References to the file(s) are removed from the File Allocation Table. You may still be able to recover the file(s). |

Pick one:
- A small town just outside of Laredo, Texas.
- Goes to a slightly larger recycle bin.
- Same place you'll find Jimmy Hoffa.
- All of the above
Obnoxious sarcasm aside, Mick is right, but I was not aware you could actually delete it. Maybe you moved it or the shortcut to it? What OS? |

If it's VISTA:
Right click your desktop, and click on personalize.
On the upper left (under Tasks) go to "change desktop icons"
Check the "Recycle Bin", and then hit apply.
for WIN2K:
Right click your desktop, and click on properties.
Click on the "Desktop" Tab, and choose the "Customize Desktop" button.
Click the "Restore Default" button.
Reboot
ETA: update for different OS
