I have reached the 100 view mark....heading for the 200 views...and still my score baffles me...but the comments are good.

I loved this picture so does this mean that I am right and everyone else in wrong or does (as would appear more likely) it mean that 54 people are right and I am in the wrong place
In the past I have said that I shoot photos for me not for scores, but in this case prior to voting starting, I genuinely thought I had done both. Tempted to self DQ and post it here in the hope that people will be able to past critical comment as to what I have not done 'right', but more likely will just roll with the punch and get on with it |

No right or wrong. Just different opinions. :) I went to the museum yesterday and there was stuff I absolutely hated, one artist of which was my boyfriend's all time favorite and inspiration (Cy Twombly). Most people walked into the room and walked right out slightly disgusted. A few were in there for a long time just soaking it in and enjoying. :) |

For me, as we are on a scale from 1 to 10, less than five is really bad, and as always almost no comments... More comments telling why the low votes would help. I'm going to start a rule for myself and I will comment every vote that I give for 4 or less with decent explanation about the reason for the vote. If everybody do the same, we will certainly allow hobbysts like me, to learn and improve.

Most do not even know who Cy Twombly is... Ask for a blackboard to exemplify. :) |
