hmmm! Maybe a tour of one of the old mansions in fairmount park? I don't know if they are any good but I was looking into it on the website.

Anyone up for a NASCAR race? I'm not a huge fan of it myself (I'm 'technically' AKA not really a co-worker with one of the drivers) but it looks like it could be fun to shoot. Maybe limited in the type of shots unless we could get a pit pass though. There's one in June and in August in the Poconos.

I'd be interested in any of those options. The Nascar race would be awesome if there was access to the infield.

my vote: Boat House Row

Across the river (if nature photography is your thing) there is the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge near Atlantic City. I haven't been there since 1990, but from what I remember, it was quite impressive. It was also the only time I saw a bald eagle in the wild.

Or, if you're feeling really adventurous, Cape May - gorgeous birding, lighthouse, etc...

Im going to be in the Philly area this weekend for a family member's Communion. If I wanted to shoot some stuff at night in the city where could I go and shoot from?

Ive seen boathouse row and shot it during the day from the Art Museum/Electric Company area. I hear Boathouse row is awesome at night. Is that the best place to shoot it from?

Any other cool night ideas?
