I had someone that was printing my images for a gallery that carries my framed works...and the dramas in her life have just become too much. I asked her to make some prints for me over a month ago and have yet to receive them. She's got the most beautiful prints...but, my gallery owner is getting impatient. She uses an Epson 4800 ink jet on Enhanced Mat Paper. Is there anyone around here that can produce this quality or better...for a good price?

Thanks,
Terri

Yes, there is.
They're based here, in Melbourne Australia, but dont let that put you off. They are absolutely brilliant, and work for photographers all around the world, and ship internationally, and they do fibre based printing too, if that's what your need is. Oh, and I have no direct association with them, to bias me in what I say.....just know their reputation here.

The Edge - photo imaging - best prints around, by far

Otherwise, why not use DPC prints?

I just Googled "giclee prinintg in Wisconsin" and got THIS

I dunno how close University Avenure in Madison is to you, but there you go.

Most places that do giclee work package and ship.

If you're just looking for pretty decent quality photo printing, I've had very good success with both Staples and Office Max for large format printing.

And I do all my own 8x10s with my own printer.

I have the lowest end HP printer that uses individual color ink cartridges, I've probably run 1500-2000 prints through it over the last two years and I find the quality to be excellent......and it was less than $300. HP claims that it's Vivera inks, under glass, and not exposed to UV rays are good for 100 years.

Never heard of them before but their prices for develop and high res scan is very competitive.

Thanks for the heads up as I have a few rolls of 120 velvia and provia that are ready to go to a lab. :)
