| I'll be in Perth next Friday and have most of the day to myself. Does anybody have any suggestions on good photo spots/subjects around the city? I thought I'd head to Fremantle for the day if there were no better suggestions. |

Hop on the boat to Rotto and take pictures of the Quokkas!
It's what I'll do if I'm lucky enough to go back there. |

Go to Hilary's....from what I remember and have been told since...it will be worth your while!

I lived in Perth for awhile in the 90's, great city for photography.
If you only have a day you must go up to Kings Park for great city views. I would probably then take a river trip down to Freo and spend the rest of the day walking around Fremantle so much to see and photograph (the old jail is good).
Rotto is a fantastic place to visit and photograph but if you only have one day it would be hard to fit it in. |

Not sure from which side of NZ you are but been a Bri/Syd type, I found the sunset over the ocean just bizzar... worth some pics. I second kings park... rottnest is too much for a day as it would take too long but if you want to get a bit of coastline there are some ferry/tour trips that would be worth while for a couple of hours.
