Sorry for my absence. My mom was visiting, and though I took a ton of food shots but had no time to process, so I'll try to catch up a bit over the next few days - both posting and commenting. |

Chris and I went to the annual Glendale Jazz and Blues festival yesterday. All of the normal food vendors were there so I took some photos of festival food. This is the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich with curly fries. |

For assignment three...
Not the prettiest piece of Cheesecake...it was the last piece, I had to wrestle it away from hubby!

Everything looks great here... except the cheesecake. Not that it is rough around the edges, but seems like the colours or something just doesn't make it umm... appealing. Now don't get me wrong I enjoy a nice piece of cheesecake, but it doesn't seem to be the star here to me. Though Like I said, everything else looks great. I really enjoy the white on white and silver.

| I know, I know...it's not pretty!! I was really busy this weekend...and cooking isn't my thing. So, hubby bought this from the grocery store on Friday...it was the last piece and not looking very good. I actually cloned out a whole bunch of crumbs!! Thanks...I'll try and make it more...ummm...appealing. Geesh, you guys are so demanding...you actually want the food to look good? ;) |

I know I haven't posted or participated in the thread but I just stumbled across it and realized that my wife made me take some pics of one of my cheesecakes I made for Easter. I can't think of anything else to do with these pics but to post them. I make a variety of cheesecakse but the chocolate turtle cheescake is my fav, though I do think the Chocolate Strawberry might be my best looking.

Just cause I like food and food likes me and I am lurking anyway.
Today I made a bacon wrapped burger w/ American yellow, aruegala and spinach, slice of tomato, and some mayo and mustard, on a California pull roll. Sided with a wedge of kosher dill and pork/beans tanked with a glass of OJ.
I don't know what editing I care for more. The first is 'normal' I suppose and the second is my normal style.
