Nice article, thnx for the link.

I have one. Actually, it does not take half as bad a picture as the article suggests. About half the pictures I take look like normal pics. The fun is that the Holga is unpredictable. Who knows what you'll get? Mine has no light leaks, but is prone to flare, which may give nice effects. I am currently looking for overaged film to add to the unexpected.

The problem is that it's getting harder and harder (and more expensive) to find firms that develop 120 film.

My solution to film costs was to rip the lens off the holga and attach it to my D50... I love that lens more than life itself!

Holgas a great fun! Mind you, so are most of the other cameras that are sold/worshipped at Lomography. Mmm... 6x17 pano cameras... ;o)

There are quite a few Holga aficionados here in Japan, too.

So do Holgas require special film to get the two tone pictures?

I've been looking at Holga's for awhile. Thanks for the link to the UK article, that was great. But the last thing I need is another toy!
