On the 'road closed' ones - you might have got an interesting abstract if you'd gone really close in on the striped orange/ white sign and maybe isolated it with just some of the 'caution' sign ?
You can find interesting pictures in the weirdest things: More 'on the road' outakes...

Thank you. That bridge is one of my favorite subjects to photograph. The lines, angles, curves and background, bridge lighting and water just work so well together that I keep coming back to it... the bridge photos in my gallery were taken last fall.

Depending on what a person had been ingesting, that information might be helpful!

That's why I included the disclaimer in the first place! Feel free to use it as I have no plans to, and titles aren't copyrightable anyway. |

That''s my sister playing the part of willie and she is left handed we noticed that the guitar was backwards after the shoot.....lol We knew someone would notice that :-) [/i]
I think the DCP rules allow you to flop the photo (although wouldn''t help with the pick-guard). Or say it''s Jimi Hendrix "in drag," or maybe Elizabeth Cotton (composer of folk classic Freight Train -- she actually played a right-handed strung guitar upside down!). You''re not dependent on the Willie Nelson allusion since she''s actually "on the road."

I really like the idea of dual connections to the theme, though. :)

Oh, I do too -- the more different connectons the better! I was just reminding people that there's been some pretty successful guitarists who play with non-traditional methods. |

(if titles were copyrightable) wouldnt i hold the copyright, being as i provided the 2 source titles ?? how is that different from sampling an older song to make a new song? : )

I think you're joking but I'll answer it anyway. Titles are not copyrightable. As for song-sampling, a song that uses a sample of another song would be considered a derivative work. What that means is that the writer of the song owns the copyright to the song as a whole; however the writer of the sampled song holds copyright to the sample. In essence, that makes the song-owner's rights dependent on the sample-owners rights.

i know. i knew they werent. hence my parens, which was to say, assuming they were, they would follow the same rules as songs and samples, meaning that GeneralE's composite 'supertitle' was actually derivative of the original titles. but they're not, so yes, I'm joking : ) . .
