true. though in this case I was talking about the other camera without a removable grip.

I always shoot with the grip on as I am mostly doing weddings and dont want to have to stuff around and change batteries.. plus I love that I can shoot vertical with it.

I have a grip that somebody can have if they want. My hands are too small to hold the camera with the grip on. It's way more comfortable without it.

I don't think the xti and 20d are compatible, but I could be wrong.

Look in the accessories section of your camera manual. It will probably be listed there.
