I would like to know how you go about uploading photos on this site. I am extremely new to this so I really don't understand. Thanks for your help! Jim

Try this link out.

After that just go to challenges and submit. and you can upload it.

I guess I worded that wrong. Where on the site do you upload images at? I went to submit photos and then from there it said i had to be a member. Thanks

Jim, as a registered member only (i.e. free membership) you don't get portfolio space, so you can only submit photos ready for a challenge.

Make sure to read all the rules of the challenge type very carefully to avoid disqualification.

You need to become a member to be able to upload images to your own portfolio. As a registered user you can post to forums and challenges only.

Was it one of the Member only Challenges? Right now you would only be able to enter one contest, either fences or environmental portrait. What are you trying to enter?

Hi Jim,

As a registered user, you can submit to either one (but not both) of the Exclusive Open challenges (the ones with grey icons) each week. These challenges are open to anyone who creates an account on the site.

Paying members may also enter either one (but not both) of the Exclusive Open challenges, but may also enter all challenges marked as a "Member Challenge" and noted with a blue icon. The only exception to this are Invitational Challenges, for which they must also meet the invitation criteria.

If the challenge you wish to enter is a Member challenge, you can upgrade to Member status for $25/year, or if you prefer, a 1-month trial for $5.

I don't believe I see a current challenge for which a bird photo would be directly relevant, except for the Free Study, which is a Member challenge.

While there's nothing stopping you from submitting an entry that doesn't meet a given challenge, be aware that entries that don't meet a challenge topic tend to score extremely poorly.
