Okay... since I am an old fart, I just HAVE to say this... when I was a kid/teen, it was only 25 cents to see 2 movies, 2 cartoons and a serial or two at the matinee. And only 25cents again to go to a regular night time flick...which also came with cartoons and/or a newsreel.
Now that I have shown my age...I shall return to those wonderful days of yesteryear...in my mind!!!

Those were cheaper because they didn't have to colour in the film or pay for a sound track though. Those things cost money, you know! |

And they had to be cheap in order to entice people to the theater, knowing they were at risk of dinosaur attacks. |
