Thank you all for the comments I received on my snail photo. Here are the other 4 B&W Snail photos I was considering.
Snail 1
Snail 2
Snail 3
I surveyed 8 different people with varying tastes of art and I found that those that didn''t really enjoy going out and looking at art enjoyed Snail 1 and Snail 3 the most. Those that did enjoy art or were artists themselves enjoyed the photo I submitted the most. I personally liked Snail 2 the best but the one I submitted was a very close 2nd.

I like the one you entered, and snail 1. Snail 3 is too much of a nature shot, rather than 'artistic'

| One and two are better than the 3rd, IMO, but the one you submitted was just excellent. Unless memory fails me (and it sometimes does) it's the only 10 I've scored so far. |

Thank you irae. I really enjoyed your picture this week and I've seen you be critical on others so your 10 and the comment you left is much more appreciated. :)

You have come a long way from that stop light picture you first entered a month ago ;-) Your photo was one of my favorites this week :-) Your people shot was a favorite of mine too last week. I am impressed with your latest efforts, good work. |

I like snail1 of your outtakes better than your submission. But then, I was one of the people that thought your entry was too dark.

I liked snail 2 the best.. but the one you submitted was wonderful. BTW, I''m an artist.
oh..and it was one of my favorite 9''s.
