That's a pretty good list; especially #4.
I'll give an example to support this. I didn't really give a hoot about lighthouses until I start taking pictures of the one that's local to me. I've probably taken hundreds (probably thousands) of pictures of that lighthouse at all times of day, heat, cold, sun, fog, seasons, angles, etc. I'm completely fascinating how a single subject can change so much.
I'm still not a lighthouse freak or anything, but if I have a bit of time and am near one, guess where I'm going! |

It is a good list, but seems to be only 4 real things expanded out to fill an article ;)
1 & 7 are the same
2 & 8 are the same
5 & 6 might as well be the same
3 & 4 are the real keys. Have passion for your subjects and it'll show in your pictures. Pay attention to the light and you'll rise above 90% of the photos you see anywhere. |
