Day 31. Thanks everyone for all the suggestions and for letting me be a part of this challenge - it was inspiring and eye-opening. I hope you got as much enjoyment out of my shots as I got out of yours.

By my driveway this afternoon. I have been experimenting with getting unusual point of view shots with the fisheye and the Vivitar 2X macro focusing extender. It lets me focus all the way in until the subject is touching the front element of the lens. The focus can go even more, but things get fuzzy when the point of focus is inside the lens. DOF is short at that close range.
It's been a fun challenge, and thanks for all the thoughtful comments and suggestions. I hope that I have been as much a part of commenting as posting for this challenge as you all have for me. I will be posting a few more comments as I look back thru the shots again in a day or two.
I used the opportunity to experiment and play with some of the gadgets in my bag of tricky and fun lenses that I would have probably not used otherwise.

| Sorry gang! Life has gotten in the way of my macro shooting and the lens of life has turned its focus on me for the time being. Nothing to report just dealing with life's major issues. Great shots here in the side challenge. It has been a pleasure to be part of such an exemplary group of macro photographers. Keep up the amazing work. |
