I think we've had more than our share of snow this season... but suddenly, there are "Signs of Spring"
Shot in my backyard (the white in the background is snow) and through a million branches, I had to shoot long (400mm) and focus manually in order to get through the branches and get the bird in focus.
I know it's still early, but I've got my hopes up. So what's it like in your area? Share your Signs of Spring

Spring? We've got a couple of months of winter left yet. The snow in my front garden is over 6 feet high. The snow on my back deck is 3 feet high and I cannot open my back door, haven't been able to since December. Enjoy your signs of spring!

I know ... we still have lots of snow here too. I'm just being "hopeful" that we can soon put winter behind us. Seeing a robin out in the tree at least makes me think it's coming.

We have winter robins here, there were several in the trees in my back garden 2 weeks ago. They stay over winter eating all the berries from the trees. So for us seeing a robin in January or February is not a sign of spring.....although I wish it was, I am sick of winter! I think I live in the wrong country.

SPRING? It's 14 degrees here, facripesake! I nearly froze to death chasing my newspaper up where it had blown down the street in the near-gale winds. Gimme a break!

it's 4 degrees here! I remain positive though as I am really enjoying all of them! There's no school today either - there must have been a sustained windchill factor well below zero to have school called off.

-4 in Minneapolis. At least it is sunny. Sunset in now after 5:30, but the lengthening day is about the only sign that winter might end soon. |
