Like it but with the most above average total being the winner.


No simple is great but.... How about if the top 3 scores in the challenges receive personal medals that are added to their teams total. Also a point per medal needs to be established to determine close results in the end.

Here's my thought.

Gold: 5 points
Silver: 3 points
Bronz: 1 point

Medals go to the top 3 finishers in the chalenge. I figure over less than 10 challenges there's little chance for ties, however in that case the winner woud be determined by number of gold, silver, bronze.

I think that having a medal icon to add to their signature would be fun too.

other than that I think that the rules as cujee has them in the OP ad various other posts work.

Ok, I changed Canadien to Canadian on the larger banner. I also made available a smaller version which would be more signature friendly. See below.

I'm not finish creating all the team jerseys yet but afterwards if anybody wants their personalized jersey in a larger format for their profile just let me know. Send this request via PM so your request doesn't get lost in this thread.

Didn't get any feedback from the Icelanders. Did you guys like your jersey? Any issues with it? If not, I'll have your banner ready a little bit later.

If it isn't obvious that's the map of Iceland sitting on top of a giant DPC ribbon. Seemed appropriate. :P

Alrighty. I think I'm going to form an Olympic Committee to help me out here. Doing this was much more difficult than I thought :P So if anyone is interested in helping me out here, please just give me a nice PM :)

Everyone It's very important that I make up an Olympic Committee. That way we can sort this out and make up rules of how we determine winners and such :) So please PM me if you wanna join the committee thanks.

Well so far I've collected all the opinions of people. Since this is a prestigious tournament it seems, I think we should have a little more "Olympic" like scoring system. So we have 3 medals Gold, Silver and Bronze. Gold is worth 5 points, Silver is worth 3 and Bronze is worth 1.

The idea I originally had was looking at each person's overall average, and combine it to make one overall average. For example: Tropical Islands Team has Yanko-6, Timfythetoo-7. So the overall average of the team would be 6.5. Then we see how the team does overall during the challenge, average their scores out, and see how much better they did in the challenge than their current average. The team who has the highest from their average wins.

The problem I see with this is that it's like handicap kinda. There's probably a lot of flaws in it I don't see :P But it's my opinion

i'm not sure i understand this ..
do you mean that we're not scored only on the challenges we go in during this olympics but that our previous overall average is taken into account as well ..??? .. :)

OKay here is my thought, (it was only one long rambling one)

Why not just all start off on a level playing field. Which is zero for every team.

Then when the challenge is over, add up all your scores and those are you points. So the German Team would get 70 points, Iceland would get 7 (hehehe dreaming)

Or take the top 3 scores of each team and have those as the points each week. Actaully I think this one would work better, then that way at the end of the tourney the teams wiht the most points wins.

Simple (or is it>?)
