I took photos on my CF card. Unknowingly, when transfering them to my PC via Lightroom they were being converted to DNG. I wasn't aware that this was not the equivalent of an NEF file required by SC when submitting for review (I was worried with the entry I put up that there would be some questions). Anyways, I deleted the CF card while it was in the camera. I have taken one photo since. I'm hoping to recover the file with an Data Restore program of some kind, but don't know what would work best.

 Help!

Was it a Sandisk CF card, because they include a recovery Mini CD with their disks. |

 I love YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had given up COMPLETELY and was about to send a PM saying that there's no app (As I tried all night) that would recover anything. AND since it snowed today (In Osaka, it's very rare) I wasn't about to give up the chance at shooting snowing scenes for one challenge. STILL...there's a chance...and I'm looking RIGHT NOW. So, if it works GREAT...if not, well now I have something for next time.
