I'm busy at the moment, but I'll be in touch.

I might want to take this over for you if you can explain to me how you have it working.

Send me a PM and if you can convert it to Excel 2003. I don't have 2007 so I can't open it and I don't want to download the downgrade for me to open it because it causes issues with 2003.

This is up to date again ... finally :)

The December Free Study results will be the final set of scores to be counted for 2008. There aren't really words to explain how soundly IreneM has trounced everyone this year (52 top ten finishes so far), so I'll let the number speak for themselves (and seek to implement drug testing for 2009 :)

Dirt_Diver: The converted excel file is here: //www.miloandpro.com/score.xls

To actually write out how I do this would take easily 10 times longer than actually doing it. You're going to need to know how to create a pivot table, the rest is just cut and paste from the previous sheet (formulas have already been created).

Great job Milo keeping up with this all year. I had enough trouble tracking the Top 5 the last two years. I'm hoping to hold off Judi, 'pasta, and Structor for the coveted 4th place!

I'm still not sure if this way is better or worse than just tracking top 5 Doc ... just different, I guess. The rankings are probably very close using both methods.

To be brutally honest, once I fell out of the top 100, it wasn't fun to plug in numbers (even though it's really easy). It's unfair of me to announce I'm doing it and then make people wait weeks to get updates. My time on DPC has been slowly gearing to a halt - I hope Dirt_Diver (or someone else) is able to take over. Statistic Anonymous Unite!

Also, Dirt_Diver or whomever, a phone call would probably be much easier to walk you thru things if you get stuck. I'm not much of a technical writer.

I also wanted to give a quick round of silent applause to my friends and old teammates mpeters, jdannels, and banmorn for very strong showings this year ... Go F/Stops!

Bite Me...considering I was tied for 16th place last year...but not good enough to be on your list...you can sit back and let me take the lead for 4th place. That'ss teach you to turn your pretty little nose up at me.....hehehehehe!!

OK, this is up to date, but not complete. I've decided the "Best of 2008" should be included with these stats as it's technically a 2008 challenge. I'll be updating it one last time after those results are in.

Also, please keep in mind these are ranked by points, not ribbon count. So for example, hotpasta is ranked 4th and DrAchoo is ranked 5th ... but DrAchoo actually has one more ribbon than hotpasta. hotpasta had 3 more top ten finishes than the doc, giving him the edge on points.

For all the "thank you's" I've received ... your welcome :)

If somebody does take this over, there's the issue of name changes. I'm ranked at 119 under mad_brewer and 165 under Ken. If you combine them I jump up to 68. Not a biggie, just wanted to point it out.

I'll fix this on the last update of 2008's list ... if that spreadsheet gets used for 2009, the change should be there

Oh, I'm ranked 28 under scalvert and 2 under timfythetoo. Those should all be combined under scalvert when you get a chance.

;-P

I came so close to being on the list! I was only 3 away... Well, there's still a little under 9 months to go!

I guess I have extra motivation to get a few top 10 finishes.
