I allready told him in mail, but I think it's worth it to tell all you guys too.
Last week my external hard-drive crashed, big time. Lots of things were still on another drive, but my DPC-photo's were on that harddrive that crashed.
I was picking up the pieces. Rescued a lot via sent mail (which I backup-ed on the good harddrive, fortunately) and other ways.
There was one problem left. Some original and edited photos I'm proud of (for example Day 113, my Butterflly shot and Caught in a bubble) were lost. Gone.
The fact that I had some photos sent for validation AND I had some prints on the site, was my last hope. Yesterday I sent Langdon a mail, telling him the story about the crashed drive, and with the question if there was a chance that the validation-files AND the prints were available.
I wasn't sure about the originals; I didn't know if the were stored on the site for some reason. So my hopes weren't very high for them.
Today I got all the original files back. AND my prints. WOW!
Langdon is my new HERO. Period. Thank you so much again, you made my day week YEAR!
DPC is awesome. This is the proof!

Sorry to hear about your drive... but great to hear that you recovered some valuable images :O)
I think I know where our membership fees go to now - hard-drive arrays!
Hmmmm... DPCbackups(?). Interesting thought ;O)
