Can I get some feedback on this one?

This was suposed to be one of my best shots, but I was so excited I totaly messed the focus, maybe I even forgot the macro on or something, fact is it was too blurry so I gave it this radial effect and sharpened it a bit to recover what I could. I'm begining to like it like this but I'm not sure. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Its good and bad at the same time. I wouldnt have used the radial effect so much, but you really had no choice here. I like how you can turn an out of focus shot into such an interestng one like this. BTW, how'd you do that border?

Usually a bad shot can be savage with some PS filtering. Kind of gives a feeling of being chased.I like it.

it's a normal black border with blending mode (in photoshop) set to "soft light" if I remember well, anyeway play around with the blending modes until you get somethink like this, then I put the bright line.

this is after I used all the filter I could the original shot is alot uglier. If you want to give it a try id be happy to give you the original to play with.

honestly, i think it's an absolutely fantastic shot.

people who think that every photo has to be technically perfect probably can't see them as 'art.' picassos portraits don't look like people, do they?

this is awesome.

I like the effect and the tones. My only crit is that the crop on the right is too tight to the horses head.

As far as the photo goes it's interesting, a time captured. I'd like to comment on the title tho. It doesn't fit as the photo has a feel for "speed" and/or "action". I don't know. Perhaps a new title. Some times a photo may go futher with a really explainable title. I have a photo of just some little people from the game of LIFE, it looks boreing, but with a catchy title. it made it a lot better. One little blue guy is lying down and the girl is standing over him. Entitled, "LIFE, It's just not a game any more." Ahhh, just my opion. Have fun snaping away.

I think the action in the shot is fantastic. Did you try to add noise in another layer? Since the tinting and subject makes this look like an old photo, noise might add to that feeling. Also it might smooth out the sharpening artifacts around the guys legs and in the hay, or blend it in more.
