I hope this hasn't been suggested before...I searched and came up with nothing!!!
When I receive a private message, I'd love to be able to respond directly back to the author by just hitting reply on my email. With my email client, I have to copy the link and post it into another window. It can because annoying when you are having a back and forth conversation.
I understand that not everyone would want their email viewable by the person they are sending the message to. Perhaps there could be a checkbox option for this.
Just my 2 cents :o)

The real solution is to make the PM system an integral part of the site, and this is something that is on the list of planned improvements. |

You can always set up an appointment with someone on skype via email or PM should you think that it is worth the time and effort ...

Not sure if you have used Myspace messenger, but it's an IM system like Yahoo Messenger or AOL Instant Messenger, but has Skype IP telephony built in.

Ok, so I have Skype, but I'm not seeing how DPC buddying up with Skype would help? What am I missing? |

I use Skype all day long too....
Afterthought, could we set up a forum section or area that could be a hot link whenever a Skype user is online? What I mean is that when I log in on my computer here at home to Skype, "my skype link here at DPC" becomes "Green" or "Active". Someway to let other users see if I'm online/available to talk? I could see this becoming a big hassle with the website code though. Or someway that we can have a "Skype forum" where we post our IDs? Then if someone wants to add us they can just do that through Skype separate from DPC?.....maybe?....I don't really know.

Nono, you gotta go get the Myspace messenger that runs via Skype technology... then you will understand. |
