Can you use the JPG that can be captured along with the RAW for validation? It would save me a ton of uploading to be able to do so.

I think so. EXIF should all be the same, right? But you know the drill - ask SC.

I have a couple of times. I usually shoot the RAW +sm jpg and it does save upload time.

I've been shooting RAW + jpeg lately and I thought I read somewhere that you needed to provide both for validation? I guess I was wrong.

Absolutely, yes. I always use them for validation.
