Regarding accuracy, on one run through I happened to have 3 questions all of which were correctly answered by clicking the location of London. The closest I was able to get to London, in 3 tries, was 45 km... And that was the second attempt, not the third one...

I have my monitor at 1680 x 1050. It's really hard to get accurate within 50km (done it a few times, but it's just by luck). Maybe i'll kick it down a notch tomorrow & try again.

ETA: damn... this is addicting. I'd like to thank KarenNfld for killing what little life i have left ;oP

Damn! got stopped at 10.. at that level I was happy getting the right continent

To get to level 10 is easy, first three tries I get above 350k score.
But sometimes the map is inaccurate.
And in general it is way to small to make an accurate pinpoint of a location. I live in Holland and I cannot even nail Amsterdam to within 46km! That's stupid.


My closest was also The Hermitage; 4km I think it was. maybe it helps to have been there... ;-Þ　(However, I've been to many of the other places, and that didn't necessarily help... {°¤°})

After 10 to 15 tries...
Level 11, most places I am like ".......Whaaaaaattt???.........."

I feel so dumb! Some of the places I was 1000s of miles away from...I spent time at. And what is this with one of the countries capitals being in the middle of the ocean?

Thank God I am not travelling anymore...I would be horribly lost most of the time!!!

Well there are small island countries that are too small to show up on the map Bermuda, Bahamas, anything in the Caribbean smaller than Jamaica really, loads of small islands in the Pacific that the Japanese occupied during WWII.

BTW, try playing on Facebook. There are a bunch of different quizzes, like the US quiz, that actually shows the different states so it's easier to get closer to the mark.

Well it doesn't really matter how far we can scrape by to (in other words I'm pretty terrible, only made it to level 9) but how accurate we are:

yes it is 2 km, and yes it is on a 1440x900 monitor on full res.

First go... but I have to admit to being a bit of a geography geek... not to mention amateur vexillologist. Bit disappointed that I didn't manage to pass level 12 though... those damn unheard of places in those damn big countries.
