Take an image of a fleshless corpse.
Special Rules: The subject must have already been deceased for at least a year before you took the photo. Causing a death would be grounds for DQ.

What?? It doesn't hurt to see if there's any interest.

I see it does not have to be human.

...a little morbid but hey, I could be game!

That could be extremely difficult for those who live in cities i suppose. But interesting nonetheless. Cant say i come across 'skeletal' 'remains' that often when out and about where i am.

As far as being in the city - even with the special rules flag, this challenge topic surely won't be approved anytime soon, so... I'm just sayin.

If we could use old photos, I could enter it, but there aren't much 'skeletal' 'remains' anywhere where I live.

Would a dead tree count?

I don't even think live trees can count. I've seen dogs and elephants that do though. :P

Exoskeletons would count, too, right? I'm all for it - stretch the creativity! Broaden horizons! Push boundaries!

Edit: Besides, per Dictionary.com, all the subjects would have to be are "of, pertaining to, or like a skeleton." So a tree that was LIKE a skeleton would work, right?

Cities have museums.

What about zombies? You know, the living dead with their ravaged flesh hanging in tattered ribbons from their lifeless but animated bones?

'coz I've got one of those.

Now I'm really liking this idea. Shall we make it a Triptych?

I'm a huge fan of zombies and support the idea that a zombie can never be DNMC. And as long as you don't use one that's too fleshy, I'd call it 'skeletal'. :D

I bet we'd see at LEAST one entry of this;

I love the idea though. Could get very creative! :)

That'd be fine, but being a Doctor, I'd expect something more like a cadaver from Achoo. :)

Oh, no, he's not very fleshy, and most of it is badly dessicated anyway. I keep him in the back yard for varmint control.

I dunno... those seem to be missing the required amount of flesh... :-/

He must be either very-very sneaky or a very fast moving zombie!

I know of a rat skeleton. It's stuck between chicken wire and the wall of a shed; obviously starved to death. The sketelon and leathery skin survive.
Only problem is, the shed's in my parents' backyard in Australia.

Good excuse for a trip?

I reckon this would rule out any self portraits showing up....
