This is my origional partly processed entry for Dec 2007 recent challenge, before I cropped it. One can also see my entry to see the differance.

I did some burning and dodgeing and some tidying up cloning to get the finished image that I entered, I was quite pleased with the result, from the origional, which was taken from a distance through very thick glass at Australia Zoo.

Yes, I know I have accidently spelled Whiskers wrong, and have asked Langdon to see if he could correct it for me. I am having so much trouble with my eyesite and my keyboard. I tried to get a new keyboard with white written letters but none available.

I hope you don't mind my sharing this with you. By the way, I used my sons camera for this shot with my new telescopic macro 180 lens. We decided to take only the one camera for the day, and I wanted to try out his Canon 400, with my new macro lens.

Nice - even your original turned out great.

Thank you so very much as it is becoming a problem, and fear the outcome. I hate spelling errors and hate knowing my sight is fading much faster that I like it to.

I dread the day when it doesn't allow me to take photos due to the processing.

i would have never guessed you took that through glass. i see reflections in the original and it looks like they keep it really clean.

What kind of Keyboard are you looking for? Black keys with white writing? Let me know and I will see what I can find here that may help.

My Dell keyboard is black with white writing, so that's an avenue to pursue.

WOW thanks guye as I have been looking for a keyboard with white letters everywhere in Queensland Australia. I will ask around and see what happens.

I also thought of the blind society, as they may have something available, but not brail..... Just white keys, re the letters and larger size if possible. I must look into it and I will let you know.

There are actually a lot of products out there to choose from: google "keyboards for the visually impaired". Here's a nice-looking one:

//chestercreektech.com/product_info.php?products_id=83

* Enhanced Visibility Lettering System (patent pending) rated 20/300 on the Snellen Visual Acuity Scale; Standard keyboards are rated 20/70.
* Letters are 430% larger than the letters on a standard keyboard.
