I had sold an image through photographers direct. The image was for a BOOK. After 6 months they finally sent a request for the invoices via letter. The request was for permission for use in a book and Ebook. Now, this is a first. I don't want to jump to conclusions but doesn't this fall into another category of payment? Or does the purchase of the image also allow them the rights to publish it in the ebook form? The original request was for a book publication only, but when requesting invoices they mentioned the ebook. I just want to know if this is normal as I've not experienced this situation.
