Oh well it looks as if I'm to late for this one but I do wish every one much fun and I'll be sure to vote in all the open challenges to help out that way.
All the best to you all.

And we need to do it in a neutral location, where there's a volunteer judge to eat all of the food they cook impartially choose between them. Somewhere about halfway between Cape Cod and Columbus. Hmm. Something like ... DC! I'm thinking 50 or 60 weekly rounds, like on Saturday night.
Edited to add: Ryan, be gentle with me. It's my first time. ;) |
lol, i'll try my best

I thought it was one set punishment for everyone? (well, for the losers, not for me)

I was under the impression that each set of contestants choose their punishment humiliation. But either way it works for me.
PS i am not really a trash talker, but I am enjoying some of what you all are posting. |

The original post talks about voting, which seems to imply one common punishment for all of the losers each month. It also talks about the winners (rather than everyone) doing the voting, which implies we don't decide on the punishment until the month is over. Lee, is this correct?
I am SO looking forward to voting!!! |

Perhaps you could be a reserve, in the event anyone drops out. |

I say we all vote before hand, so as to add motivation and to prevent cruel and unusual punishment.

I think that each loser to should have their head to head partner choose an appropriate punishment!

I think that an uninterested party (read me) should choose the punishment for each pair's loser. |

I would love to be considered for that, and I would be honoured to help out.
My wife and children bought me a new set of studio lights (nothing fancy) and I love them for it and would have fun putting them to good (hopefully) use.

I does say that losers have to take a photo decided by and voted on by the winners of the competition. In this case, Erik, you won't be voting for quite a while. ;) |

I believe the Punishment should be set pryor to the beginning of each week, this would give motivation to go the extra yards.
As this challenge is to run for 12 months I also believe that an award be posted beside the winners of each challenge so at the end we will have a visual look at the most successful and consistant winners.
If this Idea is accepted I have created a Motivation Trophy Folder in my Portfolio for those that wish to copy paste.

Thanks much. I already copied and pasted it into my front page 12 times -- this will save me from the hassle of having to copy/paste it every single month for the next year. I'm sure Budya won't mind. :) |

It might be too much hassle having to remove them later, though. :)

Are Fire and Ice included in the january head to head or not? inquiring minds need to know.
BTW, where the hell am I going to find freaking clowns at this time of year in the great white north? Besides, they scare me!

OK, the first challenges have been announced. Fire and Ice are not included in the head to head challenge (they were announced in December). Soooo... clowns or spectacles? May the best photographer win this round.
In honor of our first round, I think the loser for January should have a choice.
1.) Take a self portrait dressed as a clown holding a sign saying their opponent made a clown of them in the first challenge.
or....
2.) Take a self portrait wearing some sort of goofy glasses holding a sign saying "These glasses will help me take better pictures".
hywind ... the ribbons look great, I'm also going to put something together for the loser to display on their profile page. |

This is so unfair, I was shooting fire and ice specifically for this challenge. |
