I dearly want him to make it, but just as important is for him to have some kind of quality of life. :( |
I trust for a speedy and successful recovery, Carol and I send all our prayers.

Congrats, Brian! It's a really fun shot. :) And now you can all see what I meant about Deb's photo being much more interesting than mine.
And congrats, Kelli! How cool to find that success.
Ernie, I'm sorry to hear about your stepdad. I hope for what you hope for: recovery and quality of life.

Oh well. I can always put it on my web page. :) |
Umm...Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude!
You're right about that pay attention thing.
Eyes' deadline is TUESDAY, not tonight. |
That's what I said (now in bold in my original post). No?
Ernie, here's hoping things turn out the best for your step-father, your mom, and you.

This just came out of voting, with a proud Sucker score of 4.5 :)
I'd love to hear what TS has to say about it once you've read the description though.
And thanks to Melethia for a lovely comment during voting :)
If anyone's interested, here it is:

I have only taken two photos with it - the trip out to the camera shop was about as much action as I can manage at the moment! I am just uploading the 40D RAW convertor and then I shall post my very first photo!

I just had to submit my original for the Earliest Memory challenge. I didn't do anything extraordinary, so I hope it will pass validation without a problem.
BTW I love the shot, and so of course it's not scoring very well. It does have one FAV though. |

In for Eyes.
Free Study holding steady at 5.0000
My bird finished in at a whopping 5.1.
Anyhow - today's my birthday. I'm 31. My hubby got me a card. A friend came over and watched our trio of munchkins for two hours so that hubby and I could go to lunch alone. It was our first date since May 2006 !
No gifts.
Not a single phone call from family (my father and siblings have disowned me recently).
And I'm missing my mom so much that it hurts.
