Okay.....my continuing travails have taken another downward turn. I dunno if I mentioned it, but I am unemployed and we've been managing, but barely.

Today I just wrecked my new car and I have $500 deductible and I have no idea where I'm going to get it, I have no hopes for my family for Christmas, and I just have to sat that I just cannot swing my order right now with all this.

I guess what upsets me more than anything is that I'm not even going to be able to get one for Adrienne and myself.

It kinda sucks to be me right now.

I'm just soooooo frustrated. Under normal circumstances, I'd have taken 100 of them and given the first dozen or so to friends, paid the $15 each to SGK, and then let the calendars do their thing for sales.

I will repay whomever after the turn of the year if someone will spot me for two.

Just read your article and it would appear that us poor Canadians are getting short changed in Australia too. I think dknourek and myself are going to get a complex before to long.

Remember Canada? We remember you :-}

Oh and by the way, Way cool for you it looks great. I think the only thing that would have made it better would be to have included the word CANADA. Man it's lonely here, nobody remembers us.

Got to go and edit my press release. I think I'll put photographers from CANADA and some other places but I can't think of them right now.

What do you think Dave? No one would know but us.

Just poking fun :p

All the bset to everyone.

MAX!

Hang in there man I know how hard it is I've been there more than once in my life and I feel your pain.

Embrace the ones you love for they bring you great joy in hard times. When we reach a point like this in our lives, it is at that point that we are truely thankful for the thigs we do have and that is family and friends.

So for what it's worth you have a friend your neighbour to the north.

All the best to you and yours we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

I do apologise. I used the original press release and just presumed that the person who wrote it (Uh Hum, wont mention any names) checked out where everyone is from. I often check where people are from but sometimes there is a state but no country. Makes it confusing when you dont know your states.

OK so it's snowing whats your point?

I heard that people in the US think that it's starts to snow as soon as you hit the Border. But we CANADIANS know that the snow dosen't start untill you get to Hamilton so there. :p

Well when we were in Montana, it snowed on my birthday in JUNE.... I had to run away real fast... back to good 'ole Arkansas where you mention the word snow and the city shuts down.

Hey folks....

I feel a little better today......even though on the way back from taking my daughter to school, the hood flew up, smacked the windshield (Didn't break, thank goodness!), snapped the antenna off, and dented the roof!

Deb Melethia posted over in Team Suck for me to PM her and she'd buy me a calendar and have it sent to me!

This is why I love this place.....she's been sent to Baghdad, Qatar, Kuwait, and Afghanistan, and yet she's worried about me. Sure puts a little bent sheet metal inot perspective when you run up against a sterling soul like that, doesn't it.

Okay......here's the thing:

Jeb Boyd
339 Whiskey Springs Road
Dillsburg, Pa 17019

If you want to send me a calendar, great, or a sympathy card, terrific, I would appreciate that more than you know.

I need one for Adrienne first and foremost, and one for myself.

IF I get a pile of them, I will distribute them in various places like my doctor's office (He's my friend and my daughter's godfather as well!) and that sort of thing so that orders can be made.

My original intent with the 25 I ordered was to do just that, but this little "thing" with the car kinda put the kibosh on it.

I'm going to take off now and do more job-hunting......

BTW, I am fortunate enough to have another vehicle, it's just older and not as nice as my new little Ford (Which we got with the intent to give it to my daighter in a couple years for her first car.).

The old Vanagon is lookin' pretty good right now!

Jeb, theres more people thinking about ya than you may realize...

you and I should start a support group :P

I was telling Michelle last night that after drowning my XTi and my 17-40 and dam near myself a couple months ago the XTi didn't make it, the 17-40 crapped out completely after my calendar shoot and to my horror the zipper on my camera bag had opened just enough for me to watch my 70-300IS go bouncing down a couple flights of concrete stairs :( so now I'm down to my lill 50mm and my kit lens from the old XTi...

Anyway we can only go UP from here right? :D
