How do most peoples scores go throughout the week? For "People", mine started at 5.9, and gradually moved down to 5.0 (before being "jerk vote" corrected to 5.2). What a frustrating process.

This week, to my surprise, my score is slowly inching up, throwing any nascent ideas I had about when the "clued in" voters vote right out the window!

LOL Mine does that daily -- starts out "low" rises to sometime in the afternoon and then falls again afterwards every day.

Mine usually starts out right about where it is going to finish, dips in the middle of the week, and rallies at the end. Then, I always get a .2 jump when they run the script to ditch all the people who vote straight ones.

Last week it gradually crept up, this week it seems to be easing down. I don't think I've had a variation during any week more than 0.75.

I, too, would like to see the vote distribution graph during the voting, to know if the small movements are balancing 4-5-6 votes or offsetting 9's and 2's. It might also help put the comments into some context if we knew what votes were being cast, rather than just the arithmetic mean (the easiest but usually least useful of the common "averages").

Maybe the little graph with the current votes could be displayed at the bottom of the current comments page instead of the home page -- that should take less re-fomatting.

My score has gone both ways... i usually start out lower and inch up a little as the week goes on however...

Funny thing is that with the current results now displayed to the thousandths, any variations seem more severe! If I lop off the last sig dig, my variances don't look too bad.

My own scores are consistantly bad this week. Guess it's my own fault though. I knew this picture had issues.

But over all I usually start and end up in approximately the same place, with minor daily fluxuations. I am not enough of a mathmatician to figure it all out too closely. (or a photographer based on this weeks scores)

Don't feel bad. Not only am I on my way to my worst score yet, but I was playing around with my pic today and I accidentally did one thing that made it look so much better. I guess that's what I get for waiting until the last minute to submit. :-(
