Pretty good score! I guess I am not the only one equipment handicapped in this challenge. I entered with my 2002 vintage 2mpixel P&S.

Very cool,  bassbone and  faery. Checked out the 2 mp model (dpc Equipment): you've got good competition there. I'm not doing nearly so well as faery with my little Nikon, but some Lovely Person just gave me a 10 and a nice comment.

Considering the number of entrants in this challenge, I am thrilled with the number and quality of the comments. I think people like b/w and duotones and have an affinity for commenting. Most are saying the same things about my processing - and I kick myself because I made the change at the last minute and people are saying I should have left it alone.
Now, if I can just keep this silly thing above 6 through the weekend! |

I considered entering yet another monochromatic shot for this challenge, just to warmly greet folks who cherish the notion that every entry needs to literally "meet the challenge".
Alas, I bowed to the peer pressure and submitted a bonafide duotone entry. This score is truly ruining my PA though! I've jumped well over 5.0 and no longer (for the time being) enjoy the fine company of the "Average Under 5" crowd. I'll be back to join the "AU5" tribe after I've submitted a few more cellar-dweller entries in upcoming challenges. |
