| I talked my wife into signing up to Live last month cause we have Netflix and thought it would be great to use. My tag is 'kohaikibagami'. I am a total noob at FPS games, but just recently got R6LV1&2, COD4, GoW2, Left for Dead. I think that's the only ones that I have that can be played with people. My first night playing with people was on CoD4 the other night and I think I only killed someone about 2 or 3 times a match, but I was killed about 10+. Hehe ;) |

| Got your add. Played a bit of Left 4 Dead tonight. Tons of fun. Did the single player of 'No Mercy', then went and played the vs. game. Ended up being No Mercy again but being able to be the zombies was awesome. I loved being the tank. |

I played it the first few mission in single player mode, I think I played up to the level where you have to get to the roof of the building.... I have not played any other versions of the game yet......cant wait to check them out though

COD4 is a very easy game to die in. Those air strikes are nasty, I average about the same as you 2-3 kills and killed 10-15 times.

If anyone of you use wireless, (having a hard time figuring out what it's called...), did you buy the xbox "signal-recieving-antenna-thing" or a regular "signal-recieving-antenne-cheap-thing"? I've heard you can use anyone, but my won't work! Thus no live for me... |

looks to be set up a bit like endwar.

I have the xbox one. I read that is more compatible than the others. The others take some finicking to get it to work. The one made for the xbox is just basically a plug and play one. We just also upgraded our internet speed from 3mb to 16mb. It's awesome how fast it is.

$100 for the microsoft WiFi version seems like a rip off to me. we have the connection wired...

Dude, how in the past are you? lol.
Cable connections can get smoking fast these days. Mine is 15Mb/s, and I'm only on the middle tier. The next one up is 25Mb/s.

Well, cable modems being what they are, the average speed is going to be in this range, but with the right conditions, 15Mbps is the top speed of the tier I'm on.
(granted, one will almost never actually see that, but the fact is, you don't need T3 anymore to get those speeds. You just need it if you want them all the time) |

I don't have gold right now, and probably won't until the beginning of summer. Very much mired in financial issues for the next couple of months. heh.
I'll pm you my gamertag if you want, but I can't even join parties with silver, so it's kind of pointless. |
