... could be worse... it might have been kidneys.

I've never understood peoples' aversion to tongue. It's not an organ, it's just a very supple muscle. Seriously...

On my trip to China I drew the line at eyeballs and the weird drink with colorful snakes floating around in it (it was supposed to help men in the manhood department).

I once had Ramen with Art Roflmao Sauce but it wasn't all that.

I've had better.

Never had coffee, tea, wine, beer, any alcohol that hasn't been cooked.

Never had hagis, tongue, kidney, or any internal organs, except heart (I like) and liver (I don't). Haven't tried parsnips.

Caught some frogs and roasted the legs - tasty.

Had octopus in Mexico - chewy and the "suction cups" pop out in your mouth when you chew it.

Oh, you really ought to. They are very tasty. Try peeling em, then cook em like mashed potatoes for starters. Or cut em into chunks, toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and roast em. Yum.

I haven't eaten Martian, although, strangely enough, there's a very strange person in the village here who claims to have done so.

I have, however, eaten zebra.

A great Thanksgiving side dish, actually, is mashed potatoes and parsnips. About 2:1 ratio of potatoes to 'snips is right for starters.

Not so sure about parsnips, however, if you mentioned mashed swede, I'd be there.

We often have mashed parsnip and potato - goes really well with Steak & Kidney Pudding. I like mashed swede and carrot, not too keen on it on its own though.

They only eat the tongues and the answer is "hundreds"...

MMM lengua.

The best burrito places in California were the ones that served lengua (tongue), cabeza (head), and sesos (brains).

Lengua and cabeza were both delicious, but I couldn't convince myself to try the sesos.

Sonic is the best fastfood I've ever had. I first had it when I went to Texas last year. There aren't any in WI. :-(
