I see scary, I see sexy, I see cute...all costumes, but are they "Halloween" costumes? Are people voting based on scary, or based on the fact that it's Halloween and they can dress as anything so long as it's fun? EXAMPLE: One kid dressed as a scary vampire, another girl dressed as a princess...both same quality pictures, but the vampire is more "Halloween"? Or are they both deserving of the same score?

| People dress up as anything on Halloween, trust me. If you want to score scary pictures higher, that's your perogative for sure. But do realize that Halloween does not, to a great number of people, just mean scary, and instead is simply a time to dress up as whatever they please. |

IMO it's a time to dress up and have fun, not just scary. I'm just wondering what other voters are thinking. I'm asking this due to a comment made on my picture.

I kind of thought that might be the case. I guess when I say "do realize" I am talking to whoever reads this thread. :-)
My photo is currently sitting below a 5. Which discourages me. I said in my comments my photo is nothing special but it's not bad either. I do hope that people aren't looking for one specific thing.
I saw several really fantastically creative images that fit the Halloween theme for sure, but you had to look maybe two seconds instead of just one. It was still obvious, but not AS obvious as some other, less creative images.
So yeah, I'm interested to see how all this turns out. |
