I love this picture! I just wanted to share it with others and get a little feedback on it. I think I may put a border on it and make myself a nice large print for my office. If anyone has any suggestions on best printing sources, please let me know. I heard that Wal-Mart is actually pretty good for printing digital pics. (Can't help but question that!!) But if anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks, Brett

Walmart does good 4x6 and 5x7 but if you want pro quality enlargements you'd have to go somewhere that specifically does this. Off my head I'm thinking Blacks, but I'm not sure where they're located. Depends on how picky you want to be I guess :-)

Since you are a member here, why not have DPCPrints do the printing for you?

I just had a 16x20 print done for a client and it turned out fantastic...and with the shipping under $20

If you did want to go with the Walmart printing they do alot bigger than 5x7 ...Online at walmart photo centre in Canada
They have LARGE format printing up to 20x30

:-) I meant their quality over 5x7 isn't as good as a pro enlargement

I definitely don't want to lose quality. But I would like a 16x20 or so. Does anyone have any suggestions for on borders? Can't decide if I should just allow the actual frame I put it in be the border or something else to offset the picture from the frame.

Any ideas would be warmly welcomed! Thanks!!!

If you are getting a photo that big, a nice mat and frame will be all you need. I think about how photography/art is hung in studios and galleries, the simpler the better. Atleast not having a border won't detract from the photo, if you use a border it's iffy.

when I'm going to frame a shot, I print it with a white border around it about 1 inch wider than the actual picture - this gives me something to trap under the mat and makes life a whole lot easier

The other way to do it is to cover part of the print with the mat.

Just don't frame it without a mat - it'll look horrible and it will stick to the glass and get ruined pretty quickly.

This is what I was thinking about - white border so that the picture isn't covered by the frame, since I don't have much room to work with on the sides.

Thanks to all for the advice!
