Anyone had experience using the higher end print places like west coast imaging or calypso ? I'm just about fed up getting bad colour and poor quality control (that I have to pay extra for the screw-ups)
How has the experience been ?

I used to work at A&I in Los Angeles. They are one of the top pro labs in the world. They offer printing from digital files as well. Their clients are mostly pros, so I'm certain the quality and service is there.

If its worth anything to you Gordon, my local place I use here has an internet drop box and UPS's stuff out. I've had excellent work done by them. They recently dropped their prices too.

They don't do any glossy stuff though, only matte.

Just got my first set of prints back from West Coast Imaging.
Beautiful - just exactly like the files I sent them - great work, great packaging, not too unreasonable prices. |
