These are ice crystals on our trampoline from a heavy frost took them quite a few months ago when I had no ideas about overlays stumbled across them again tonight ;)

| ahh, you guys are awesome, I've been trying to get going on making some textures, but haven't gotten to it yet. I will post some when I've got some. Thanks to everyone for the links/pics. |

FYI: I'll only send my textures through FTP. Trying to email these large files through email is just way too hard!! FTP works really fast and its easy!! Hope I'm not being to much of a pain.

u cant go wrong with this one
i used it a million times
(good thing about that u might be able to picture the layer when u take the image)
maybe best to aim the scene there where there is hardly structure kinda the middle

i didnt think anyone'd be interested in the photographs i use as overlay/textures, but charlie noticed this one in my photographer's comments and suggested i put it in here ... its a shot taken looking out'v the windscreen going thru the carwash desaturated ..
and a coloured version ..

this photograph of roots up close in water worked for me in my abstracted bee .. probably not the sort'v thing ppl want tho ..

I went a little overboard on the November texture challenge and ended up without about 66 photos. Anyone is welcome if you want to use them. Charlie, you can put my name in the list on your first post with a link to my textures. PM me if you want full size versions.

I have finished 30 days of textures. I am not sure, but none of them seem really useful as overlays. Regardless, if someone finds one they would like to use, please drop me a PM and I will send a larger version for your use.
I find textures in life to be fascinating, but took these photos without thought to their possible other uses.
They can be found in my Textures collection.

I've been playing with brushes a lot to create textured overlays. Check out this site, he's got some really interesting brushes!
