TEXTURES..... Please add your name to this list if you prefer to do TEXTURES. Go out and photograph the differant textures one see in everyday life. Doesn't alwaya need a macro lens.
Please note; One can still do both if one wants to. Also one doesn't have to do an image everyday, unless they choose to. I do feel it would be nice to cmments on other members images and to learn as much as we can by shareing ideas and what the differant textures are.

OVERLAYS..... Look at differant textures, for adding overlays to ones images to give many differant effects to the origional photograph. Expert editing.....

Well I am happy to announce that Charlie joynim will be helping me, by looking after the "Overlay" Group, while I will look after the "Texture" Group,
Only a couple of days away ro when we start. I will need today to organise the groups, as I plan to PM everyone, to see which group they prefer to be on.
You are able to do both groups if you wish, and one doesn't have to do everyday. Just do what you can, and enjoy it, and hopefully learn something along the way.
Please add you name to this thread, if you are interested in either group, "Textures", or "Overlays", and let me know which group you prefer to be on.....

Well I have PM everyone to find out what group they like to be involved in.
If I missed anyone I am so sorry, and here is a copy the PM I sent everyone.
Just updating you with what is happening in the November TEXTURE/OVERLAY November 30Day side challenge. We have decided to split it into two groups, due the the number of people involved.
The TEXTURES side challenge will be run by me, sherpet, and the OVERLAY side challenge will be run by Charlie, re Joynim.
I would like to know which group you would prefer to be on.
Either PM me, or add your name to the thread on "Textures", November 30 Day side challenge please.

here's the dummy of the group, just about to ask an obvious question that i'll probably know the answer to after i post this .. or maybe not !!
i use textures in different blending modes to create different effects .. a lot of ppl then call that texture an overlay coz it's 'overlaid' over the original photograph ..
sooooo .. after having said that .. i would like to be in the group that uses textures in different blending modes to create different effects !!!!!!! .. so whichever that group that is please add my name !!!!! ..

I am now up to date with all names added to there selected group.....
Anymore interested people who like to do one of these side challenges in November
TEXTURES is an image straight from the camera, of textures found around us in nature, or man made objects, processed in Basic or Advanced editing.....
OVERLAYS Which is a texturered layer on top of an existing image to change it's mood or appearance.. This is Expert editing.....
Please just PM me, or add your name to this thread.....

oh hmmm, I shoot a lot of textures naturally... I would like to be in textures for sure.
Wondering if I have time to do both...
If I don't have to do one every day, I would like both.
I know life will interfere. I would like to have a reason to practice with it.
