All I can say is I am in shock! About 3-4 months ago I submitted a picture for Kodak's picture of the day. Some of you may have seen my highest rated image before.

My best work but not the best work I have seen. I didn't think I would get anything. Well I just got back from Taking some pictures of "seymour" duck for the Duck US tour and came back home to get an email from Kodak. I am going to have my picture displayed in time square on Kodak's screen on October 24, 2007. I am just speechless. I just came back from talking to my parents and my dad has some reward miles from some airlines and me and singsunshine are going to fly monday/tuesday and take a picutre of me on the big screen.

I know I haven't been very active on the site. But just wanted to let anyone that remembered me know. Thanks to all that helped me and pushed me along to where I could shoot a picture like that one. Hopefully this will get me off the couch and into the challenges more often.

Congratulations!!! Bet that's going to be kinda weird seeing your huge face looming over Times Square. :)

Thankfully it wasn't from the"Photoshop me some hair" thread I started a few years back. I don't know if I could stand seeing my ugly face any larger than on my 19" lcd.

Thanks Banmorn and all. Probrably will be my only trip to the east coast. Won't bring my SLR just a P/S but will get someone to get a picture of me looking at myself.

Congrats! I know the joy - a pic of my pugs is Kodak POTD today (Oct 19th). I wish I had the time and airfare to be in Times Square to see it myself.

A word about catching the image on the "big board". It used to go much slower, maybe 30 seconds of your image and a credit. These days it's 2-3 minutes of ad and 10-15 seconds of POTD. Be prepared to spend some time getting the rhythm.

Yeah I figured this will be my 15 minutes of fame or shame however you look at it =)
