I've been waiting since i was a kid to get a new laptop. Ive always wanted one, for some reason its just a whole different feeling.

I Paid 480 got something around as powerful as my desktop that I no longer have.

AMD Athlon/Turion 64 X2 Dual Core (1.8ghz thinking to overclock to 2)
1 GB of DDR2, 120GB HDD, 8x DL DVD Writer with Light Scribe
nVidia GeForce Go 6100

I originally tested Vista in beta 2 and rc 2 with more success then other people and despite all ive heard the Home Premium is running good and its nice to have the media center. Of course if i had any money and had a choice i would have gone for ultimate but its a waste for now.

The only real thing its missing i need is a firewire port for my video camera. It also doesnt have a card reader, but my current situation leaves me not needing it.
