Commercial has lots of it, even lighting.

I think this opens a huge can of worms. This is basically asking the question what is art.
I think that artistic "porn" would be something that would cause me to think something more than just: "Oooo... boobies" |

I think 'gratuitious nudity' is what I call porn, whether it's sexual, erotic, or whatever. If I can't find something in the image beyond the nudity, it just all falls into the same category. There are pitchers of nekkid people, and then there are studies of shape, texture, and light.

| id say porn is photos of sex inteded for non artistic purpose :P if i will call it that, and artistic nudity i would classafy it as a photo showing the beauty of the naked human body |

Artistic porn: Lighting, composition thought, fake boobs, LOTS of healing brush, absolutely no body hair.
Pornographic art: Using the body and sex for shock value.
Artisitc nudes: The body as sculpture. |

That's the number of views in the nude gallery. That should tell you right there that there isn't a difference. The photographer and some art enthusiasts may appreciate artistic nudes for the art that they are but for most everyone else it's just porn lite, shadows and play on light be damned. |

There is no difference. Playboy photographers go through just as much work as "fine art" photographers to get the shot. The difference is what the artist says it is. I can show you a picture of a guy and girl having intercourse and you and call it porn, or I could call it a moment of intense passion between two lovers, and then its art.
Its all the same, its just a matter of how much bullshit can you sling to prove your point and sell your case. |
