Hi, I formally opened my photography business about 3 months ago. Taking alot of slack from the competition in my area because I have no formal photography training. Hoping you would check out my work on my website and let me know what you think. Most shots are outdooor...still working on my studio.

Your stuff looks pretty good to me. My advice would be not to worry about what your competitors are saying. The big question is: Are your clients happy?

Sorry, I don't like your site at all.
I don't like the front screen where I have to click through. I don't like when you click through, it launches another resized window. I don't like how long it takes to load (and I have a pretty fast connection at work, so it shouldn't be slow).
Nice pictures tho.
Oh, as for other photographers, who cares. As long as your clients are happy.
Of course, the fact that other photographers opinions are a concern to you makes me think you're not thick skinned enough to be in the photography business. Thicken up a bit, it might help.
If you can't handle opinions from other photographers, how are you going to handle comments from customers? |

how does the competition know you have no training - formally?
buck up and prove them wrong - i guess...
and i would advise getting a different domain name.

agree with Nullix, far too many windows and why does it take so long to load such small images in the gallery?
solid portfolio though.
ignore the other togs. |

| Regarding the site - drop the 'special effects' of the expanding boxes. People want to get to the photos as quickly as possible. |
