I find it fascinating going into peoples profiles and looking at what they have made favourites.

Some people have made loads of pictures favs and some only a few, some have clear themes running through them which have been filtered out from the thousands of photo's out there (to save you the effort :- ) )
and some are wonderfully eclectic.

they are like tiny little worlds of pictures, and sometimes I can spend ages drifting through them, looking at the shots, maybe adding my own comments, or leapfrogging through into another collection via one of the pictures.

If you've not surfed peoples favourites it's well worth a try :- )

um, i can't think of a response that doesn't involve:

sounding like i'm fumbling around in Judi's pants (and I end up in trouble)

:OR:

sounding like i'm fumbling around in Soup's pants (not good either!!!)

forget it - when in doubt, always choose the redhead! LOL

To get back to the original suggestion, it's a great one, and thanks for the reminder that others have favourites too. You're absolutely right, they're little worlds of photos. Great insight.

Why Sir Tanly.

I think it's interesting what you learn about someone by looking at their fav's. Take Leroy for instance....... ;-)

I only have 3 I think... the Portrait of a Taurus pic is the one that made me want to join DPC.

However, I do want to add Simms' recent winner of fill the frame- the bull type creature. A great shot that I stole the process from.

I only have 4 pictures, but quite some photogs though. I am probably more in favour of some people's style than in individual pics.

To be honest it wasn't about how many or how few each of us has ourselves - it's more the fascination of seeing what people have selected for their own interest out of the tens of thousands available.

Doing this will often bring up a picture that you like yourself and didn't even know existed.

It's also interesting to see what pictures some of the top scorers have felt worthy of faving.

It is always a pleasure to peruse foreign taste.
I like to crawl through some of the older members to see images that were in place before me. And there I often find severed thumbs (metaphorically speaking) and wonder where the authors have flown. Too, I catch sight of aspirations and touchstones to emotion. There is a wealth of satisfaction to be had in digging.

Sometimes they reflect your tastes, interests, moods, idols, or intentional themes.

Okay, who's got what themes? Maybe someone should start a thread like "Theme Parks" among dpc-Members' Favorites.

I think you're right - I think sometimes the themes not intentional - but when you look back at whats been collected it can be there all the same.

Sometimes the theme can be as simple as colour or style . . sometimes people can set out to collect shots of cows or whatever

And as for you rider - it's easy to sound brave when you're on a different continent to judi ;- )

edit for speeling
